Teaching Scholarships in Delaware

  • Christa McAuliffe Teacher Incentive Program

    Must be legal resident of Delaware; U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens; full-time students enrolled at a Delaware college in an undergraduate program leading to teacher certification; high school seniors must have a combined score of 1570 on the SAT and be in the upper half of their class; undergraduates must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA; preference will be given to those planning to teach in a critical needs subject area.

  • Delaware Critical Need Scholarship

    Must be a full-time employee at a Delaware public or charter school, teaching on a valid Emergency Certificate in a critical need area; applicants can attend any regionally accredited college to complete their standard certification program; must complete course with a 2.0 GPA or higher; Delaware residency is not required

  • Delaware Teacher Corps

    Must be U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and legal resident of Delaware; all applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75; high school seniors must rank in upper half of class and have a combined SAT score of 1570; must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a Delaware public college and enrolled in a program leading to teacher certification; preference will be given to students who plan to teach middle and high school math, science, and/or special education in a content area.
