Teaching Scholarships in Connecticut

  • Phil DiGiovanni Future Teacher Scholarship

    Must be a full-time undergraduate student with at least one and one-half year of study completed; must have intent to enter the teaching profession; at least one parent or legal guardian must be a current member of the Connecticut Education Association or an employed CEA staff member.

  • Ethnic Minority Scholarship Fund

    Must be a minority student as recognized by the National Foundation for the Improvement of Education (Black; Native-American/Alaskan Native; Asian/Pacific Islander, and Hispanic/Latino); must show proof of acceptance into a teacher education program at an accredited college or university in Connecticut; a minimum college GPA of 2.75; submit application form, three letters of recommendation, and a copy of income tax returns.
