Teaching Scholarships in Arkansas

  • Arkansas AmeriCorps Future Teacher Initiative

    Must be a part-time school district employee and student earning a bachelor’s degree in education; award includes an annual living allowance of up to $7,200 and an Education Award of up to $2,362.

  • Arkansas Geographical Critical Needs Minority Teacher Scholarship

    Applicable to minority students who agree to teach in the Delta Region or an area with a critical shortage of teachers.

  • State of Arkansas Minority Teacher Scholars Program (MTSP)

    Applicable to African-American, Asian American, Native American, and Hispanic students attending a higher education institution in Arkansas with approved teaching programs; must commit to teaching in an Arkansas public school for five years after completing teacher licensure, or three years for teaching in the Delta Region or teaching a critical subject; additional eligibility requirements apply.
